A NON-PROFIT OUTREACH ORGANIZATION MEETING THE NEEDS OF A GROWING LATINO COMMUNITY.
Mission statement:
Amigos Internacional is dedicated to helping Latinos become an integral and valuable part of the community by promoting cross-cultural understanding, assisting families and individuals to meet their basic needs,empowering,advocating for and educating those most in need.
Cultural Events
Festival Latino- is our Biggest Fundraising event of the year.
First Saturday in November at Hugh McCrae Park La Primero sabado de Noviembre
Language Classes-We collaborate with Cape Fear Community College to teach English as a Second language. They are free .

OUTREACH
Hurricane and disaster awareness- A conocer Huricanes Y disastres.
Education- Amigos International Educates the Latino Community on Local Laws, Finances, Immigration, Health, and Safety Through Special Workshops, Seminars, and One-on-one Assistance.
Interpreting and Translating-Amigos International Volunteers Accompany the Spanish Speakers to Doctors, DMV, and other Appointments, as well as read their mail or other important documents they may bring in.
ADVOCACY
Amigos Internacional is Constantly working to bring necessary changes and adaptations to Southeastern North Carolina for the benefit of the Latino Community so that Language and Cultural Barriers no Longer Exist.
MEDIA
We have Established Various Ways to promote Cross-Cultural Understanding through our Local Newspapers,Television and radio.TELEVISION
-Cape Fear Latinos- is our local TV program. It comes on Channel 5 at 6:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.RADIO-
Radio Amigos, a one hour Program of Music, Audience Interaction, Community Information and Special Guests Airs on Thursdays at 9 PM at 980 AM Radio . Radio Latino for the English-Speaking Community Airs on Public radio Station WHQR, 91.3 FM Sundays at 8 PM.NEWSLETTER-
